Crockett Park
Take I-65 South to Exit #71 Concord Road. This is a "Y"/"cloverleaf" interchange. Exit and turn left onto Concord, heading East. (If you are on I-65 North the interchange "cloverleafs" to the right and up to Concord Rd. at Lipscomb Dr., so you still turn left onto Concord) Pass through the light at Lipscomb Drive (Lipscomb Elementary on the right), if you have come from the South on I-65 North, you are at Lipscomb Dr. so disregard the "pass through" part and simply turn left onto Concord Rd. In either case continue on through Knox Valley Drive (at the Brentwood Public Library), pass the Brentwood YMCA (on the right), and head up the hill to the light at Wilson Pike. [Basically you have turned onto Concord Road, headed East and will stay on it until you turn Right onto Wilson Pike] Turn right onto Wilson Pike, heading South. Take Wilson Pike to the next light, Crockett Road (you will pass a newly constructed pond, a firehouse and recycling center en route to the light). Turn Left onto Crockett Road, heading East. Turn left at the next light, Volunteer Parkway (this is between Crockett Elementary and Holy Family Catholic Church). Volunteer Parkway takes you straight into the park. Follow the park road through the first stop sign, then through the next stop sign, (you will feel like you have made a slow left turn due to the road's path). There will be a creek to the right as well as parking spaces to both sides of the road you're on. The creek will have foot bridges across it to several fields. These are fields #3-#6. As you pass by these first set of fields and parking spaces you will come to a narrowing with a grove of trees that somewhat blocks your view to the right of Fields #1 and #2, additionally there is an outdoor amphitheater on your left. Just simply stay on the road you are on and it terminates at the parking areas for Fields #1 and #2.
